The Velez Organization as construction manager for DASNY, completed the new construction of a 9,700 square foot daycare facility on the campus of York College. The $7 million dollar project includes exterior restoration of the existing St. Monica’s Church façade as well as paint removal, decorative wood framing, plaster removal, masonry removal, face brick reconstruction, stoop reconstruction, aisle door still reconstruction, raking cornice reconstruction, field stone maintenance, brick masonry maintenance, brick pier construction, turret reconstruction, tower roof replacement, cornice replacement, railing installation. The completed modern-designed daycare center includes classrooms, meeting rooms, security offices, kitchen, and administrative offices.
