The Velez Organization has had significant experience in sensitive interior Courthouse work, and perhaps more notably, in both the BronxCounty Civil Supreme and the BronxCounty Family Courthouses for DASNY.In fact, the Velez Organization received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Supreme Court of the State of New York – BronxCounty from then Chief Administrative Judge Justice Burton B. Roberts and Chief Clerk Michael R. Burke which reads in part, “as a tribute to your excellent service to the Court and to the citizens of New York in the Administration of Justice, given with the esteem and friendship of the Court,...,”in connection with our construction management services provided to DASNY and the Courthouse in November of 1997.This work involved various upgrades and modernizations throughout both courthouses, and therefore, we are knowledgeable on a first-hand basis to the complexities of working in the Courthouses.
