The Velez Organization represents the Empire State Development Corp (ESDC) in an Association Agreement with Tishman Construction Corp on the Javits Convention Center Renovation and Expansion project.Velez had negotiated a 30% venture relationship with Tishman for the project.The original expansion plan will increase exhibit and meeting room space to more than 1.3 million square feet.The project will also include the construction of a Convention Center Headquarters Hotel.
